High Gain ATC Antenna

Design Features : AC-100-400 Omni-directional VHF/UHF aviation band antenna is rugged all weather model, radiator enclosed in a ABS radome, uses 6063T6 ultra corrosion resistant architectural aluminum alloy and does not require any field tuning or adjustments. The compact size of omni-directional VHF/UHF aviation band antenna allows easy handling, shipping and highly suitable for ATC sites for ground-to-ground and ground-to-air communication without having the requirement of multiple antennas. Antenna termination and feed cable lie enclosed inside the mounting pipe for complete weather protection. All exposed metallic parts are supplied with powder coating finish to protect the antenna further from sever environmental condition. All elements are supplied in dismantle condition for easy of shipping and handling and antenna can be assembled in less than 2 minutes. The elements are attached via stainless steel stud systems at points along the antenna skirt hub.
Constructions :The VHF/UHF omni-directional aviation band antenna is consisting of large diameter radiating elements, enclosed in ABS tube. The special “Choke and Spark Gap” technique is used for smooth VSWR and constant 2dBi. gain over the entire 100-400 MHz. frequency band. Large diameter vertical radiating element ensures the constant vertical beam-width of 76 degrees over the entire band. The ABS enclosure has excellent transparency for RF signals and enough strength to withstand specified wind loads. The marine grade stainless steel mounting brackets and fasteners are supplied with the antenna.
